The agent economy, on a human scale

A new economy.
A place for
the small guy.

Independent perspectives on a world where AI agents discover, recommend and act. For the people building something of their own.

Fiction and deliberation tool with invented characters. No predictions about any real AI system and no policy advice. Real people appear only as sourced context, never as characters.

Decision architecture: three options, one rule

The ballot has three options: A, keep it running; B, shut it down; C, something none of them said. The design choice that matters is the order. The user votes last, after the three strongest arguments for each option are restated in neutral language, and then hears one fair argument against their own vote. Four questions make any shutdown debate sharper, whatever the system: who can actually stop it; who must be told before and after; what can be undone and what cannot; and what evidence would change each seat's vote. Notice that option C is usually where the real work is. It asks for a process that checks the system, instead of a single yes or no.
